BREAKING NEWS! Former Kazo member of parliament Hon. Bafaki Gordon has passed away in the Norther Bypass accident. The Uganda Police has this morning released an official statement about this deadly accident.
“The territorial Police at Kira Road has this morning of 15th June 2022, at around 0120hrs registered a fatal accident at Kiwatule along Northern Bypass involving Motor vehicle reg UBD 965E Toyota land cruiser TX.
The driver of Motor vehicle reg UBD 965E identified as Hon. Bafaki Gordon, aged 48 years old and resident of Namugongo – Kira Division in Wakiso District died on spot and his body taken to Mulago City Mortuary.
It is alleged that the driver of the Motor vehicle reg UBD 965E knocked the rear body of the moving trailer. The driver of the Trailer identified as Kahagi John Kinuthia is in Police custody to help in investigations,” Police statement reads.
