Shamim Malende (born 1980) in Kawempe, Kampala, the capital city of Uganda to Alhajj Jamal Ahmed Sebuta Malende and Jane Francis Nasunna. She is a lawyer from Uganda and a commissioner for oaths. Additionally, she is a notary public, politician and community activist. She is a member of the the National Unity Platform lead by Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine. She is the only woman on the legal team of Bobi Wine In the general elections of 2021, she was elected to Parliament as the Women’s Representative for Kampala District for the 2021-2026 term.
Shamim attended Busaale Church of Uganda primary school in Kayunga District. She completed her O-Level studies at Buziga Islamic Theological Institute in Bbunga.
