National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine has penned down a very sweet message for retired NTV’s Frank Walusimbi. Walusimbi officially announced his retirement from news anchoring yesterday. He served at NTV Uganda for over 15 years hosting shows such as Tuwaye, Ebigambo Tebitta, etc.
“Frank Walusimbi anchored his last NTV Akawungezi bulletin today. He has served the station for over 15 years and we believe that his work with us including shows like Tuwaye, Ebigambo Tebitta, and Arts features have positively impacted many. Thank you Frank and we wish you the best,” NTV Uganda posted.
Bobi Wine thanked Frank Walusimbi for according respect to the viewers of his programmes. Additionally, he noted that Frank will surely be missed by the everybody who liked him.
“I want to join other Ugandans in appreciating you Mr. Frank Walusimbi for a job well done as a journalist and news anchor for all these years. Thank you for doing your work with great competence and professionalism. Thank you for always according respect to the viewers of your various programmes.
You will definitely be missed by all of us who are always warmed by your calmness, composure and fluency of both English and Luganda languages. Wishing you the very best in your next endeavours,” Bobi Wine posted.
