The pearl of Africa’s popular singer and activist Ssemanda Manisul known by stage name King Saha has been arrested by Police at the Villa, a happening place in Kampala Capital City. According to reports, the singer’s Live performance was cut short last night by the security operatives in Bukoto, at the Villa, a city bar where he had gone to perform for his amazing fans.
No one knew about the singer’s arrest until Galaxy FM’s Deejay Nimrod made the announcement through his official social media handles to be specific X (Twitter). Saha’s fans then quickly shared the post all over the internet calling for his immediate release and also they sent him prayers to keep safe.
“At the @villa, @kingsaha256 has been arrested and his performance was cut short by security officials. He has been taken to an unknown place,” Deejay Nimrod posted.
According to the video making all sorts of rounds on socials, King Saha roared out loud that he is not scared of being arrested. Additionally, the singer also informed the Police that they have no right to tell him what songs he is supposed to perform for his fans.
“Even if they arrest me, they’ll let me free. Let me finish my performance. The Police have no single right to tell me what to sing for my fans. I therefore want to assure them that they will not intimidate me,” King Saha said.
Above all, the singer is out of prison and now he is at his home with his family. However, he has called out the Police to immediately stop intimidating his fans whenever he steps on the stage.
