Legendary producer Washington says he is coming back in the industry to reclaim his throne after years of silence to chase Nigerian music from the market.
Producer Washington is one of the people who have contributed highly to the growth of Ugandan music.
He is the brain behind many of the songs of late Mowzey Radio and singer Weasel.
“Ugandans are very talented people, and we can stop the influence of Nigerian music here in Kampala. Mowzey Radio had done us well but we lost him.”
“I will not stop at only talking. I am coming to for them,” he said in an interview with local television.
The producer also asked people to start investing in the music industry by sponsoring talented Ugandans.
Washington is now based in Rwanda where he owns a Studio.
