Artist Serena Bata has asked promoter Abbey Musinguzi alias Abtex to handle their matters professionally after the two parties fell out.
The Akati hit maker was sacked by Abtex Promotions citing a breach of contract on allegations of misconduct and bad behaviour including smoking in public.
Abtex went on his Facebook Page and posted about the break something that Serena Bata called unprofessional and she therefore called her now former boss to handle the issue more professional.
“Abtex promotions I respect you in person and the whole management in particular. But I kindly request you to handle this professionally as we did from the start, not on social media….. thank you,” Serena Bata posted on her Facebook page.
Meanwhile, Abtex revealed that the split doesn’t affect shows that they had already booked.
“We’ll continue performing at shows we already planned for and this will go on until January 2023,” Abtex said.
Serena Bata has been under Abtex Promotions for over two years and she expected her time under Abtex to elevate her career but her dreams seems to be unfulfilled.
It should be noted that Serena Bata has released several hit songs including Akati, Yegwe Munange, Bikalubye, Ebisenge among others.
