The president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) Cindy Sanyu has schooled Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) President Eddy Kenzo together with his vice president Sheebah Karungi about leadership. This follows after Eddy Kenzo made reckless comments on various interviews in response to H.E. Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine‘s speech that he made at Hon. Kato Lubwama’s burial ceremony.
According to Cindy, she says that leaders are supposed to act as examples to the rest but instead Edrisah Musuuza did the opposite. Additionally, she also revealed that she doesn’t care whether she is under Sheebah Karungi’s leadership or not because it’s no part of her business.
“I don’t mind as long as the Federation is running properly,” said Cindy, “It doesn’t matter who is the boss as long as UMA’s interests are being upheld.”
Cindy Sanyu schools Eddy Kenzo & Sheebah in ice cold interview said that when the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) was being formed, she was asked to join. However, UMA is yet to join though some of its members like Phina Mugerwa and Hanson Barulino joined and even got positions on the leadership committee.
“At the moment, UMA is not part of the Federation… some of our members have joined… but as UMA, we are not part of the Federation,” said Cindy.
