All we know about Kabaka Mwanga, Meaning & Origin

Kabaka Mwanga alias Ruyinda Junior is a new kid on the block in the line of content creation who is trending on every social media platform you have heard of. He was born in Buyamba village, in Rakai District.

Mwanga went viral on social media, after a video of this young boy boasting about his good looks gained a lot of attention.

The video was shot deep inside the village of Buyamba, based on the surroundings in Rakai District. According to Mwanga, he revealed to Sabula Ug that he used his sister’s phone to do the recordings.

The video’s hook is when the boy says, “Nanyilira… Kabaka Mwanga.” “Nanyilira” is a Luganda word that means “I look good.”

Hmm, according to the look of things, the boy clearly loves his appearance based on the tone of his voice. As we publish this article, “Kabaka Mwanga” is trending at number one in Uganda.

“Every time I did something good in the past, my grandfather used to hype with a saying that goes, ‘Oh my son, you do amazing things just like Kabaka Mwanga’. Hmm, that is where I started relating myself to Kabaka Mwanga because I thought he only did amazing stuff,” Junior said.
